Magnetic Jihad is a group with no particular membership
or musical goals. It started out as a field recording project
using portable tape machines, which then turned into a
remixing project involving taking free promo cds from record
stores, remixing the songs and returning the modified
version to the same record store. Afterwards it became a
religious movement, then a loose artist collective. Currently
the Magnetic Jihad seems to be an experimental music group,
but no one knows what it will be tomorrow.
